6.2 GAIA BBP vs HST WFPC2
As a first step a comparison between HST WFPC2 on-orbit performance and
GAIA Astro BBP specifications as they are presently foreseen was carried out.
This comparison mainly focused on the two instruments' sensitivity, angular
resolution and noise level.
